Zemana AntiLogger License Giveaway at Softpedia

Software site Softpedia is offering a free license for Zemana’s  AntiLogger which we have previously reviewed here.

Because Keyloggers, are a particularly sinister type of malware, that, amongst other tasks, monitors every keystroke a user types on a computer’s keyboard, are often executed as part of a rootkit, or a remote administration (RAT) Trojan horse, they can be extremely difficult to detect, and remove.

All the signposts point to 2010 being a banner year for cyber-criminals. Being prepared and being aware, while not a panacea, will continue to be a key element in mitigating risk exposure. Adding Zemana AntiLogger to your layered defenses, will have positive impact on your ability to manage your risk exposure.

Yes, I love Zemana Antilogger (great software) and Softpedia. I don’t know how many of internet users know that Softpedia is mainly a romanian website, based on a romanian project. Romania is a beautiful country, great people, good or… bad 😦 sometimes.

Thank you for the new Giveawayfor Antilogger!

      Hey Danielu’,

Thank you for the information on Softpedia. It’s a great site and I visit it often.

Surprisingly, many visitors to my site are from Romania and are particularly good at leaving comments. The Internet is, and will continue to be, the greatest gift to communication we have ever known. It allows people like you and I, to share out interest despite the miles between us. Ya gotta love it.

      Thanks for visiting.

      Best,

      Bill

I got this last time wonderful software and a great company!

    • Bill Mullins

      Hi Rose,

I’m very glad to hear that you find this application useful. I’ve watched this application take off like a rocket, the last month or so, right across the Internet. No surprise really, as it increases the level of user security quite dramatically.

Always good to hear from you.

    Hey Bill,

What’s your thoughts on running two antiloggers (Zemana and SnoopFree). I like them both, do you think two could be run at the same time?

    Cheers

    • Bill Mullins

      Hey Mal,

I’ve never tried this, but I suspect you’re likely to have a conflict since both applications operate at the kernel level. I’m not taking a shot at SnoopFree, which is a great application ( I relied on it for years on my XP systems), but Zemana is a superior application.

I have been running Zemana for a few months now and I wouldn’t be without it in a layered security setup. It also does not conflict with of the other security software I have.

It gives just that much more peace of mind from the bad dudes out there

    Thanks Bill

  8. Hey Bill,
Another great one from you. Keylogger is one of the most I’m afraid of. Thanks!

    • Bill Mullins

      Hey Pochp,

I really like the new setup on your site. I go by most days, but I can’t find a comment form – otherwise, I would have left a comment.

    Hi Bill,

Interesting to note that the Softpedia giveaway is a different Version: 1.9.2.185, compared to my Version 1.9.2.172 which when I click on for updates tells me I’m running the current version.

Maybe beta or something? just my observation.

    Cheers
    John

    • Bill Mullins

      Hey john,

I’m running the same versions as you – last updated March 5. Could be, the Softpedia version is numbered with a special number, since no registration is required with the offer. That way, on update (for these particular downloads) Zemana will have a way to track. Just guessing here, but…….

Very cool that you noticed this!

      Bill

    Hi Bill,
I got this piece of software when you wrote about it earlier, what great piece of added protection on any pc. We got to have those layers of defense all the time.

    • Bill Mullins

      Hey Cappydawg,

It does give you a certain sense of comfort that might not be there without AntiLogger, I think.

How’s the writing coming along? Looking forward to your next guest article, when you’re ready.

      Best,

      Bill

    Hi Bill,

All the security we can get today helps.
As for the next article, I was just thinking about it. I have an idea, I will email it to you soon, and thanks for offering, I really enjoyed writing it.

    • Bill Mullins

      Hey Cappydawg,

Your last article was a very big hit – no surprise there. Glad you like to write – it can be a great relaxer, and it certainly helps me clear out the cobwebs after a tough day.

      Looking forward to your article.

      Best,

      Bill

Thanks so much for this tip, Bill, I put it both on my desktop and and the one I’m fixing up for my daughter.

Unfortunately it won’t install on Win 7 64 bit which I have on my laptop, so if anyone knows of good, reliable anti-logger app that would…?
