Thanks again for a great link Bill. I d/loaded it, installed it and it was good to go. In my case I chose an external hd that I use for all my personal info and it locked me out cold! Oh, to answer “g”: it just password protects. I guess you could use a program such as WinZip for that (??). In my case, password protect was all I needed.

looks interesting. i’m currently using Maxa-text-2-exe. i use it because it encrypts. does lockbox encrypt the data or is it just a password protected program?
